Installing Android 3.0 Honeycomb on Samsung Galaxy Tab [Guide]

Great news for the owners of Samsung Galaxy Tab, who are running Android 2.2 (Froyo) on their device. Now you can upgrade your device to Android 3.0 (Honeycomb). This is the overclock build and at an early development phase. All credit for this build is goes to XDA member and Android developer spacemoose1. Developer confirmed that it is working fine and stable on US SCH-1800 (VZW). However, you may try it on different devices at your own risk.

Installing Android 3.0 Honeycomb:

This build is tested on CDMA (Verizon) version of device, so keep in mind before installing new Android 3.0 0n Honeycomb. I also recommend you that this build in the Alpha stages so be warned before flashing this ROM. Step by Step Guide to install Android 3.0 Honeycomb on Samsung Galaxy Tab:

Step 1: Backup everything you care about.
Step 2: You must convert your system to EXT4.There are many methods for doing to, but the easiest two are: Download “Verizon Tab Bootstrapper” from the android market, or install Boushhs’s kernel which includes a built-in conversion script.
Step 3: Download the current build (below).
Step 4: Install zip via recovery and reboot.
